Haley is a cheerful, fashionable resident of Pelican Town and one of the six bachelorettes available for you to marry. This guide will help you get closer to this photography-loving beauty and possibly enter a romance with her should you choose to do so!

Haley Basics

Haley lives at 2 Willow Lane alongside her sister Emily. Their parents are traveling the world, so the sisters live alone. She's good friends with Alex. Haley's birthday is Spring 14.

Haley Schedule

Haley loves photography, and can often be found in different parts of the Valley taking pictures or simply enjoying nature's beauty. She's a late sleeper, and usually leaves her house around 11AM. She returns home fairly early as well, around 4:30 PM. She doesn't like rainy days, and will stay inside all day if it's raining.

In Spring, she visits Cindersap Forest on Monday afternoons, the fountain near the Community Center on all other days. In Summer, she stays inside on Wednesdays. On all other days, she visits the beach in the morning and Alex's ice cream stand in the afternoon. In Fall, she repeats her Spring schedule but now stays inside on Wednesdays. In Winter, her schedule reverses, and she spends every day inside except Wednesdays, where she visits the fountain.

Haley attends all festivals. She has an appointment at Harvey's Clinic on Winter 9. Once the Ginger Island Resort has opened, Haley may choose to visit there on any day when no festival is happening.

Haley Quests

Haley is not involved in any Story Quests or plot-related Quests. She is one of the characters who can ask for items on the Help Wanted board outside of Pierre's General Store.

However, Haley is unique in that, if you marry her, her 14-Heart Event will include a quest called "Haley's Cake Walk."

Haley Gift Guide

Haley likes coconuts and sunflowers, and is not fond of vegetables or fish. Notably, she is the only character who Hates the otherwise Loved Gift Prismatic Shard, so you should never give her one.

Haley Movie Theater

Haley does not Love any movies, but Hates Journey of the Prairie King and Wumbus and Likes all others.

Haley Heart Events

Haley has several Heart Events that you can view based on your Friendship Level. Like the other potential love interests, she has an optional 10-Heart event you can view if you date her and a 14-Heart event you can view if you marry her.

Enter Haley and Emily's House when both are inside. They will be arguing about chores. Say "Haley, why not have this be your one weekly job?" to gain 30 Friendship Points with Haley.

Enter Haley's House when she is there. Haley will ask if you are strong. Say "Yes" to earn 30 Friendship Points with her.

Visit The Beach on any day between 10AM and 4PM. Note that this event cannot trigger in Winter. Haley is sad because she has lost her bracelet. Say "I'm really sorry" to gain 50 Friendship Points with her. Then, examine the bush to the right of Elliott's House to find the bracelet and return it to Haley.

Enter Cindersap Forest on a sunny day between 10AM and 4PM. Note that this event cannot triger in Winter. You will help Haley take photos with the cows on Marnie's Ranch. The next day, she will send you a letter in the mail thanking you.

Haley's 10-Heart event is available ONLY if you have given her a Bouquet and asked her to date you. It is not required to reach Perfection unless you choose her as your love interest.

Enter Haley's House when she is there. She will show you her dark room. Say "It looks great" to earn 10 Friendship Points with Haley. You can then continue your romantic relationship by kissing Haley in the dark, or remain friends by offering to decorate the dark room.

If you marry Haley, this event will take place in three parts. The first part triggers when you enter Pelican Town on any non-rainy day between 8AM and 3PM. Haley will overhear a conversation about how the school needs new books and will come up with an idea.

The second part triggers at least one day later. Enter the farm house between 6:20AM and 5PM. Haley has organized a charity cake walk, and will ask you to bring a Chocolate Cake. This will start the Quest "Haley's Cake Walk."

The second part triggers on any non-rainy day following this conversation - it does not have to be the very next day. Enter Pelican Town between 8AM and 3PM on a non-rainy day with a Chocolate Cake in your inventory. (You can make a Chocolate Cake in your Kitchen using 1 Egg, 1 Sugar, and 1 Wheat Flour.) Many villagers will participate in the cakewalk, and Haley will give the money raised to Penny to use for new school books.

Haley Marriage

You can marry Haley by giving her a Mermaid's Pendant after reaching 10 Hearts. After marriage, Haley will move into the farmhouse. Her private room has a place for displaying her photos, and she takes pictures in the nook outside the farmhouse.

After marriage, Haley will stay at home most days, but visits her sister Emily at her old house on Mondays.

Haley can cook you breakfast on any morning, but has specific "sweet breakfast" alternatives that she makes only on rainy days. The any-day options are Bread, Fried Egg, Hashbrowns, Omelet, or Pancakes. The options are Blueberry Tart, Cookie, Maple Bar, Pancakes, or Poppyseed Muffin. She can also cook a hot meal on rainy nights. The options are Bean Hotpot, Chowder, Eggplant Parmesan, or Parsnip Soup. Haley does not give you a New Year's present.
